Yes, it’s the return of the weekly ran…er..update. At least until I get bored of it (which may or may not be within the month).
First order of business is the result of our Title Shot match with clan oS^ on hellion.
We decided that we would use the Decepticon’s server round one and oS’s server for round two. wf from oS^ commented that our server was full of choke. I wouldn’t know, as mine is always maxed out at 100, for optimum balance with my packet loss.
Round one featured the following lineup:
Offense - elwood and bootx
Defense - trife, aztec, and mezo
I did absolutely nothing on offense except shoot nails at their defense, and elwood capped eight times despite me constantly being in the way in some form or another. Defense held strong as usual, and oS^ only capped three flags.

Round One - [CS] 80 - 30
For round two, me and mezo switched places and oS^ capped more because I suck so much that I can’t even keep a sentry gun up for more than 45 seconds. Despite that, we still held a small lead until my computer decided to take a giant dump all over itself, forcing me to cold boot it. Mezo took my place on defense when I was gone, and elwood decided to call it a night, so we ran 5 vs 3 pretty much for the last five or six minutes. oS^ decided to take advantage and go all offense, but still couldn’t cap anything. True contenders.
Round Two - oS^ 70 - 60
After the match, I was notified that oS^ had filed a dispute. Max D? Excessive spam? OVO? No…it’s because a couple members had gone into their base during prematch for a short period of time. Whaaatever. I don’t know too much about this sort of thing, so I’ll leave it for the professional team fortress players to figure out.
Funny thing is, the guy that filed the dispute (wf) got owned by me on a pub the night before, and started whining and talking shit to me about it. Better yet? He’s a dispute admin with TFL!
